Observation Tasks 5 and 6: Different learning styles and differentiation – General observations



Objective
1.    What do you notice? ( the teacher teach new latter is E. Nzhaa, Reema and Mohammed they didn't focus. And Noor don’t stay in carpet. She explain what they should do in area. Every body go to do activity when they finish they do another activity. All the students interesting to do activity and they did).Who are the students who answer the questions? ( raised hand). Who are the students who are quiet? (Suhail and Khalid). Who are the students who are not focused? (Nzhha, Mhra Meera and Abdulla).

2.    Are there learners who finish activities quickly? (Salma, Ibrahim and Mouza). What do they do when they have finished? (help other students).

3.    Are there learners who do not finish a task(s)? (yes, Abdulla, Noor). How does the teacher deal with them? (the same all students she don’t have same special deal with them).

4.    Are there any learners with special needs?  What kind of special needs do you think they have? How does the teacher deal with them? (no)

5.    How does the teacher manage learners with different levels/abilities? (she put good students first and low students put last and she don’t care about the low students just she work with good students).


After the observation

1.  How many different activities did the learner do? 9 activities .
2.  How did s/he interact with the other learners throughout the day? They interact all the day and they interesting to do what the teacher won’t it.

3.  What was the longest period of time the learner spent focusing on one activity? 5minuts
4.  What did the learner do during the break times? Play with others or play out side in area.
5.  What did the learner’s attention span / interest during activities seem like? There are very interesting when go to do activities and it’s very benefit for students.
6.  What did the learner seem to like doing the most / least during the day? It’s least.
